Our Work the beginning of hope and self-reliance

    Capacity building

Capacity building is the first step to self-reliance for the low-income families.
To build up the foundation for self-reliance, Habitat Korea offers vocational training and start-up incubation programme.
With help from Habitat Korea, the families are generating regular income and actively solving community issues.

Habitat Korea works to cut the cycle of poverty in the developing countries, caused by inadequate infrastructure, low standard education and lack of good paying jobs, by offering vocational training and start-up incubation programme.
After receiving vocational training like construction and sawing, the youth and women will be given opportunities to generate extra income.
Habitat Korea also support local start-ups to identify and address the issues residing in the region through incubation programme.

    Vocational training

Basic construction, electric wiring, sawing, agricultural
training given by Habitat Korea become a new source of
    income.

    Additional income from home
    gardening & response to
    climate change

Climate change has caused extreme weather
events in regions that are least prepared.
    Habitat Korea introduces home gardening
as a means to stabilising food security.
