Habitat Korea builds overseas to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live and to achieve sustainable development.through capacity building in community.
and to gain self-reliance in absence of safe and hygienic home.
Since 2011, Habitat Korea has been building homes in Asia, Africa, and Latin America to help those in need of decent homes build grounds for new hope. Habitat Korea has also been working to improve water and hygiene standard, reduce disaster risks, and achieve sustainable development in communities.
Additionally, through vocational training and education in home economics and water & hygiene, Habitat Korea plans to deliver self-reliance.

Project process

After negotiating with the donors/corporate donors the details of the project, the project gets to be confirmed.
STEP 01 Confirmation
of project -
After confirmation, Habitat staff visit each candidate to evaluate their income, vulnerability, living conditions. Based on these information, the selection committee select the beneficiaries.
STEP 02 Beneficiaries
selection -
Implement the project efficiently and transparently, according to the details devised between Habitat Korea and the donors. During the project, Habitat Korea supervises the development of the project through both regular and special monitoring procedures.
STEP 03 Project
implementation -
Evaluate, analyse, and record the completed projects.
STEP 04 Evaluation

Share the outcome of the project with the donors and discuss the future cooperation.
