WASH facilities are key to water-borne diseases prevention and maintaining healthier lifestyles.
Habitat Korea offers the locals clean water and safe hygiene facilities. Habitat Korea also offers a public awareness campaign on the importance of clean water and good hygiene habits.
Clean water would reduce water-borne diseases like Cholera and skin diseases and infant-mortality.
Clean water supply also means that women and children do not have to travel far to get water, which reduces the risk of them being raped and increases the chance of getting education.
